Wellness Coaching Certificate
Integrative medicine combines well-researched conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies to provide comprehensive care for the whole person.
Our instructors are medical doctors and university professors specializing in integrative medicine, all board-certified in integrative health, with many graduates from esteemed universities in the U.S.
Program Overview:
The program emphasizes rigorous scientific, evidence-based thinking in examining practices and therapies related to human body functioning, disease processes, pharmacological mechanisms, biochemical pathways at the cellular and molecular levels, and psycho-neuro-immuno-endocrine interactions.
The goals of this program are to help students understand and appreciate the principles and philosophies of globally diverse medical systems. It provides the skills and foundational knowledge necessary to critically evaluate various modalities and prepares students for advanced education and careers in clinical care, research, administration, or regulatory affairs and policy related to complementary and integrative medicine.
As a truly unique graduate degree program, the Integrative Medicine & Health Sciences curriculum is designed for healthcare professionals (MDs and clinicians) who seek to develop an exceptional skill set that blends scientific thinking, research evidence, and integrative medicine. These three fundamental pillars guide our participants as they explore commonly employed complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) modalities, encouraging them to adopt an evidence-based approach to examine and evaluate the mechanisms underlying their efficacy.
