About the Canadian College of Integrative Medicine

Advancing Evidence‑Informed Education, Research, and Whole‑Person Health

The Canadian College of Integrative Medicine (CCIM) is a Canadian educational institution dedicated to advancing evidence-informed education in Integrative Medicine, Culinary Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, and Health & Wellness Coaching.

Founded in Montreal, Quebec, CCIM was established and officially registered in Quebec in 2021. As part of its continued institutional growth, the College was subsequently federally incorporated in Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA), strengthening its legal presence and capacity to serve learners across Canada and internationally.

Since its establishment, CCIM has been committed to advancing interdisciplinary education, professional development, research, and whole-person approaches to health and well-being. Our educational philosophy combines contemporary scientific evidence with practical application, emphasizing prevention, nutrition, lifestyle, behavioural science, mind–body health, and person-centred care.

Through professional certificate programs, continuing education, academic partnerships, and research initiatives, CCIM prepares healthcare professionals, wellness practitioners, coaches, and individuals from diverse backgrounds to respond to the evolving needs of modern healthcare and wellness services.

Research and scholarly engagement are integral to CCIM's academic mission. Faculty members and affiliated researchers have contributed to peer-reviewed scientific publications in international journals, with the Canadian College of Integrative Medicine (CCIM) listed as their institutional affiliation. These contributions demonstrate the College's growing engagement in evidence-informed healthcare, interdisciplinary research, and academic collaboration.

To strengthen its international academic visibility, CCIM has established globally recognized institutional identifiers, including a Research Organization Registry (ROR) ID, an International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI), a Ringgold ID, and a Wikidata institutional record. These identifiers support accurate institutional recognition in scholarly publications, academic databases, publishing systems, and international research collaborations.

Today, CCIM continues to develop its relationships with universities, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, and professional organizations. Through education, research, and collaboration, the College aims to contribute to a more integrated, evidence-informed, and whole-person approach to health.
